my nans name is ruth crichton, she was born on 11th october 1942 in a small hospital in yorkshire, on 24th/12/61, she became a mum, she witnessed her daughter marry, have 7 children, miscarry a baby, divorce, and get engaged again. she cared for and raised all her grandchildren and witnessed two of them move out and have 2 and 1 child. she adored her grand and great grand children, even when she started getting ill, the only thing that would make her smile was making them smile. After battling various illnesses such as cronic obctructive pulmonary disease (COPD), 2 strokes, aortic stenosis, and various other medical problems, she fell asleep on th 18th may 2009 at 7:30am at john radcliffe hospital, headington, oxford. she will be greatly missed by all that know her, she is my angel and she used her wings to fly to heaven.
